A. France and Son prides itself on our extensive experience of repatriating the deceased person, both to and from the UK.
Where someone is to be buried abroad it is important to notify the Registrar of Deaths of this fact, so that the appropriate documentation may be issued.
In the case of a repatriation we need to be advised as to the location of the Cemetery or Crematorium and the identity of the Funeral Director at the destination. We then arrange the flights in accordance with your instructions and notify the Funeral Director accordingly.
It is possible to have a funeral service in the UK prior to the transportation of the deceased person overseas. This gives friends and family the opportunity to pay their respects before the deceased person is transferred overseas.
